A clean and healthy environment is inextricably linked to the larger issue of racial justice and equity. We must acknowledge the disproportionate environmental impacts faced by people of color – and we must demand action.
Lawmakers must also act to combat systemic racism and protect clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment for all, not just some.
U.S. Rep. Donald McEachin’s landmark Environmental Justice for All Act (H.R. 5986) would go a long way in fighting the decades of environmental degradation faced by communities of color.
We need Environmental Justice for All. Join us in calling on Congress to act!
