A federal court just found that had a flawed review by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service been allowed to stand, endangered and threatened species in the path of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline could have been wiped out.
The recent court decision demonstrates just how flawed the permitting and approval process has been at the federal level and puts more pressure on Virginia to step up and do what’s right for our environment. Now’s the time for Governor Northam to hear from us loud and clear that these unnecessary and destructive pipelines need far more state-level scrutiny than they’re currently receiving.
This setback for Dominion Energy is reason to celebrate, but we need to continue fighting. Reach out to Governor Northam today!
