April 3, lawmakers will have to vote on two amendments to the state budget restoring our ability to act on climate change after harmful budget language made it to the Governor’s desk that limits us from moving forward with a plan to cut dangerous carbon pollution from power plants.
We need to act now to ensure every Senator and Delegate knows that climate action is a priority. The General Assembly should not stand in the way of protecting our coast, public health, and our economy. Tell your elected officials it’s time to take serious climate action in Virginia!
