Join Virginia LCV as we push to pass the most progressive conservation legislation possible in our Commonwealth.
Together, we will:
- Elect the right people to pass the right laws: the next round of elections in Virginia will determine whether the power we’ve built continues or comes to a halt. With this year’s Conservation Majority we showed what’s possible -this progress must continue and together we can make sure it does.
- Help battle anti-environment forces: Virginia LCV is on the front lines of fighting the environmental foes across the state. Whether it’s a utility monopoly’s regressive ways, destructive corporate polluters or fossil fuel advocates, we expose and hold accountable those who degrade Virginia’s natural resources.
- Hold our elected leaders accountable: Virginia LCV’s annual Conservation Scorecard (which you can see here) is the only tool in our state to rate every state legislator on their commitment to Virginia’s environment – we celebrate our champions and work to defeat conservation opponents.
- Ensure that conservation progress is just and equitable for all Virginians: we work hard to build an inclusive movement and make sure everyone across the state – especially residents of front-line and underserved communities – has a voice at the intersection of conservation and politics.
