Tom Salley, a resident of Rappahannock County, is a business lawyer with Cooley LLP in Washington, D.C. His law practice includes venture capital, private equity, mezzanine, real estate and other funds, as well as general commercial matters. Tom’s also serves as Chairman of American Climate Partners, an entrepreneurial non-profit setting up natural solutions programs to restore climate and biodiversity. These include StreamSweepers, SoilKeepers, the Rapidan Institute, and Southern Climate Restoration Solutions.
He is honored to work with Virginia LCV as it connects over 150 Virginia environmental organizations to protect and improve our Commonwealth’s natural resources and scenic wonders.
A native of Richmond, Tom holds an undergraduate degree in English from Washington and Lee University, and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.
