Virginia must stay the course on combating flooding, cutting energy costs
In just its first two years, Virginia's membership in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative has brought close to a half-a-billion dollars to our state to help localities address dangerous flooding and sea level rise in their communities, and to lower energy costs for Virginians - all while cutting air pollution and accelerating the clean energy transition.
With Governor Youngkin actively working to take Virginia out of this program, taking resources away from the Virginians and communities who need them the most, and with continued legislative attacks on RGGI at the General Assembly, our champions in the State Senate must stand strong for us to stay the course addressing climate change, combating flooding, and lowering energy costs for Virginians.
Send a note to your Senator today, and let them know you stand with them as they work to protect climate action!
