Both of Virginia’s U.S. Senators made clear their support for the important work EPA does in safeguarding clean air and water by voicing their opposition to President Trump’s nominee to head the agency, Scott Pruitt. Not only is Pruitt materially unqualified to lead this agency, he’s on the record denying settled climate science and has sued the EPA multiple times over commonsense environmental safeguards that protect public health across the nation.
