In the process, nearby residents will be exposed to dangerous levels of air pollution and noise from the\u00a053,783\u00a0horsepower facility, not to mention the constant threat that it could malfunction and explode, as has been the case with similar compressor stations in other states.<\/p>\n<p>In response to today\u2019s hearing,\u00a0<strong>Lee Francis, deputy director of the Virginia League of Conservation Voters<\/strong>, emiti\u00f3 la siguiente declaraci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, given multiple opportunities to explain to the Air Board why, exactly, this pipeline and associated compressor station are needed, Dominion Energy floundered \u2013 they simply couldn\u2019t answer that very basic, elementary question.
